On Thursday, July 13th, San Saba Rotarians will meet for the regularly scheduled lunch at Pepperbelly's at 12:00! Newly installed President Buck Gilcrease will welcome San Saba City Manager Scott Edmonson who will be speaking about the April 8, 2024, Total Solar Eclipse and its expected impact on San Saba tourism, economy, and businesses.
At this time, according to City Offices, all available San Saba lodging is apparently reserved for April 8th and many local ranches, potential RV locations, and possible temporary housing are being considered as significantly impacting the future local economy next spring as a result of solar eclipse!
