The San Saba High School Academic Team competed in the District 29-AA meet on March 22 hosted by Mason High School. Forty-three students competed in twenty events at this meet. Our students did outstanding! Three of our teams are regional bound and district champions (Accounting, Number Sense, and Mathematics) and 5 individuals are district champions as well. We also have one team going to regional as the wildcard! (Literary Criticism) San Saba point totals came in second only to Mason. Goldthwaite was third. We are proud of the work and effort these students put in beyond their “normal” workload and look forward to taking 17 students to the regional meet in Corpus Christi on April 21-22.
