The flowers on their corner are directional. The bright yellow esperanza leads the eyes to the east where more esperanza, and orange and yellows of lantana point to the sunrise.
The tall, pink crepe myrtle on the corner lead the eye north along 1st Street where red yucca, Salvia and roses line the privacy fence screening the patio.
Across a section of lawn, a patch of sunflowers return the palette to bright yellow.
A small of raw cedar pickets hosts jasmine, repeating the yellow, to screen the gas meter.
This calm cottage of cream, highlighted by forest green trim, welcomes visitors with pots of matching Kimberley fern, originally from Australia.
