Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller has released an op-ed on Texas Scorecard in response to the controversy surrounding the recent update to the dress code policy at the Texas Department of Agriculture.
In his response, Miller states that a small, extreme group of activists are using media sympathizers to promote a radical and dangerous agenda that rational adults reject. Miller calls this woke outrage mob a tyranny of the minority which has highjacked our national dialog to promote a sick and divisive worldview that must be opposed.
Wrote Miller, 'Just because the loudest among us are also the most radical, it is no reason to give up our culture, our values, or our common sense.'
He went on to add that if we don't push back on this insanity, '...those with the least merit, the least perspective, the worst mental health, and the narrowest ideological focus will continue to victimize the vast majority of Americans who understand basic biology, basic civics, and basic human decency.'
