Beginning at 7 AM Thursday, August 3, the northbound lane of SH 16 at the bridge on Jerry’s Creek will be closed as TxDOT’s contractor installs concrete traffic barrier prior to construction.
Flaggers and a pilot car will guide motorists through the work zone. Motorists are asked to use caution, avoid distractions, obey road signs, and watch for crews and equipment when driving through the work zone.
The closure will last from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. or until the work is complete. All lanes will be opened to normal traffic flow at the end of the day.
