On September 25th

On September 25th, Chris Stewart, San Saba Fire Chief, and Jack Blossman, San Saba Fire Captain, were recognized and received awards from Senator Dawn Buckingham for their bravery and service to their community, especially for fighting this year’s ruthless fires at Lowe’s Grocery and 4K Ranch. Chief Stewart and Captain Blossman then surprised their fellow volunteer firefighters by summoning them to the firestation and had an awards ceremony for them. Each of those firefighters also received the same recognition and award that their Chief and Captain received from the Senator.
