The Science Mill is hosting STEM Heroes during the month of August, when visitors can meet men and women from different scientific fields to talk about their profession and do special hands-on activities.

Friday, August 9, 2024 10:00 AM–2:00 PM Meet Isaac Newhouse from Neff Power, and learn how to program a robotic arm like the ones used in manufacturing automation.
STEM Heroes Series #2: Meet a Snake Educator!
Saturday, August 10, 2024 10:00 AM–2:00 PM Brett Parker, a firefighter/ paramedic, will help educates the community all about snakes and how they benefit the environment.
STEM Heroes Series #3: Meet Your Firefighters!
Friday, August 16, 2024 10:00 AM–2:00 PM David Coplan Castillo and Elizabeth Dillard, Firefighter/ Paramedics from Bulverde Spring Branch's Fire and EMS, will talk about how a fires are extinguished and the science behind it.
