In June, Judy Aguado traveled to Washington, D.C., to receive the prestigious Congressional Art Award as the winner of U.S. Representative August Pfluger's Congressional Art Competition for Texas's 11th Congressional District.
Representative Pfluger was a gracious host, taking time to personally congratulate Judy and accompany her to the Capitol hallway where her award-winning artwork will be displayed for the next year alongside winning pieces from congressional districts across the nation. He also arranged for one of his interns to provide Judy with a guided tour of the U.S. Capitol, making the experience even more memorable.
Having her artwork exhibited in the U.S. Capitol is a remarkable honor and a testament to Judy's artistic talent, creativity, and dedication.
