San Saba Masonic Lodge will not have a stated meeting for the month of January 2022. Grand Lodge will be in session that month in Waco. The next stated meeting will on Saturday, February 5, 2022. The new District Deputy Grand Master is expected to make an official visit at that time.
A memorial service will be held for Willie Dee Johnson who passed away on December 23, 2021. Brother John received his degrees in Haltom City Lodge No. 1311; EA 4-15-1969, FC 10-19-1971, and MM 11-16-1971. He affiliated with San Saba Lodge in 1979 and was a Fifty-Year Mason in Good Standing. He is survived by two daughters: Beth Ann Childers of Riviera, TX, and Katie L. O’Brian of Anaconda, Montana. A public memorial is planned for later in the year.
