Program. After months of study and preparation in class, the students then attended a day filled with lectures, hands-on training, and even a tour of a local feed lot. All of this was to prepare them for certification testing on their final day. Testing included a 75-question written exam, an in-person interview with industry professionals, and three skill stations where students had to demonstrate proper IM injections: including dosage calculations; Sub Q injections including hydrating vaccines; and proper implantation on cattle. All three students were successful in passing their tests and received a TCFA Cattle Care & Handing Certification as well as an official TCFA vest. Congratulations, ladies, on a job well done!
