Richland Special Utility District - now in Stage 2 Drought Contingency

Richland Special Utility District has entered into Stage 2 Drought Contingency for moderate water shortage conditions after vote by the Board of Directors at the May 10, 2022 meeting.

Water Use Restrictions

Water customers are requested to voluntarily limit the use of water for nonessential purposes (lawns, gardens, vanity ponds, car washing, etc.) and to practice water conservation.

San Saba County Stage II (Mild Rationing Condition)

Alternate day usage of water, for outdoor purposes such as lawns, gardens, car washing, etc. Rationing sequence shall be as follows:

Monday and Thursday

All meters on FM 45 and West of FM 45

Tuesday and Friday

All meters between FM 45 and Cotton Belt Road

Wednesday and Saturday

All meters East and South of Cotton Belt Road

Sunday

No outdoor watering

McCulloch County Stage II (Mild Rationing Condition)

Alternate day usage of water, for outdoor purposes such as lawns, gardens, car washing, etc. Rationing sequence shall be as follows:

Monday and Thursday

All meters North of FM 1121

Tuesday and Friday

All meters West of US 377 North to FM 1121

Wednesday and Saturday

All meters East of US 377 and South of FM 1121

Sunday

No outdoor watering

Stage 2 Drought Contingency will take effect May 16, 2022 and will continue in effect until otherwise notified by the Richland Special Utility District.
