“While I strongly support increased power generation across the state, we must be thoughtful about the short and long-term impacts the proposed 765kV line would have on our residents.
I have heard significant concerns from landowners and rural communities in my district about potential impacts to private property and family ranchland, as well as safety and land use risks.
It would be much better for a final decision to be considered once the state’s review process has had the opportunity to deliberate the line in detail during the upcoming legislative session.”
