National Police Officer Memorial Day Service - Wednesday, May 15, 2024

Approximately 30 people gathered to honor Constable Hyatt who ended his watch on June 7, 1965, along with honoring the fallen officers across the nation this past year. Pictured left to right: Sheriff David L. Jenkins, Ranae Hyatt (granddaughter of Oda Hyatt), Darl Hyatt (son of Oda Hyatt), Rodney Hyatt (nephew of Oda Hyatt), Chief Deputy Daly, Investigator Mann, K9 Deputy Merriman with K9 Andor. The wreath was donated to the family in remembrance of Oda Hyatt. The MC of the ceremony was our Office’s Chaplain, John Alsbrooks.
