My Three Keys

I have three keys that are very important to me, and they are always with me. One is the key to our house, another is the key to the post office box, and finally the key to the Church. The leaders of the Church gave it to me when I came there. Not everyone in our Church has a key.

Those keys remind me of something in the Bible. God’s Word, the Holy Bible, says there is only one God, not may Gods or many ways to Him or to Heaven.

Early on in Biblical History, God taught the people of Israel a very important principle, (Deuteronomy 6:4-6). God was telling, commanding or explaining to them and us how to be in favor or on the good side of God. There is only one God, and the only way to Him is through or by or with Jesus Christ, (John 14:6). Being in Church, living a good moral life and giving to the poor are all good, but they won’t get it. The Bible is very clear: there is only one way, (John 6:35, 8:12, 10:9-11, 11:25).

Our problem and the main problem in the world today that separates us from God is sin, (Romans 3:23, 6:23, John 8:24).God proved His love for us when Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, (Romans 5:8) We must accept Christ, (1 Peter 3:18, Ephesians 2:8 & 9, John 1:12).

See you in Church next Sunday.
