In a heartwarming twist of fate, the San Saba County Friends of Animals (SSCFOA) has been blessed with a generous donor eager to make a difference in the lives of our furry friends. This caring individual is not only opening their heart but also their wallet to build a much-needed animal shelter for San Saba County.

SSCFOA has been tirelessly working to provide a safe haven for animals in need since 2013. San Saba County Friends of Animals is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps lost, abandoned, neglected, and abused animals in San Saba County, Texas. SSCFOA is made up of volunteers and currently is foster based. SSCFOA also advocates for homeless pets and has an educational outreach program to encourage responsible pet ownership. The 501c3 rehomes animals in need, provides pet assistance to San Saba County residents in need, offers spay and neuter assistance, spays and neuters feral cats in the county, and much more. The prospect of a new shelter is a beacon of hope, but there's a crucial element missing – the perfect piece of land to make this dream a reality.

The generous donor is ready and willing to invest in the construction of a shelter, but San Saba County Friends of Animals needs your help to find the ideal location. Our hope is to secure land close to the city limits but not near housing, enhancing accessibility for both volunteers and potential adopters.

If you know of any available land close to the city limits, please reach out to San Saba County Friends of Animals by calling (325)372-PETS ext. 0 or by emailing info@sansabaanimals. com. Your suggestions could be the key to turning this generous donation into a tangible, lifechanging facility for the animals in need in San Saba County.
