Temporary Burn Ban implemented
To better mitigate safety concerns during the upcoming Solar Eclipse, SAN SABA County will be implementing a burn ban that will be in effect from April 6-9. We ask that you plan accordingly.
Regency Bridge temporary closure
In conjunction with Mills County, due to the expected high volume of traffic during the Solar Eclipse, will close the Regency Bridge on San Saba County Road 137 to foot traffic only beginning April 4th at 8 a.m. and reopen April 9th, at 8 a.m.

Sanitation Schedule For The Total Solar Eclipse –
With the concerns over traffic issues and anticipated increase in people with the upcoming Total Solar Eclipse April 8th, trash collection for that day will be modified and only include commercial services. Regular schedules will resume Tuesday, April 9th.
Park Status For The Total Solar Eclipse –
Risien Park will be open to tent camping only, and no vehicles will be allowed in the park. Tent camping is $10 per tent per night for a maximum of 3 nights. Receipts can be obtained at City Hall located at 303 S Clear Street. No RV’s will be allowed in Risien Park.
The LCRA Nature Park is for foot traffic only. No camping is allowed.
Mill Pond Park is for foot traffic only (service vehicles are an exception). Eclipse Parking will be allowed around the Civic Center. Please follow the direction signs – (Go South on Live Oak Street and Turn Left on Mound Street. Enter from the South Side of the Civic Center).
Rest Rooms are located by the square and in Mill Pond Park.
