The July Yard of the Month goes to Sulema Cisneros, who lives at 906 South Bluffton Street in San Saba. Sulema has lived at her residence for 53 years and has absolutely made this house her home during that time!
Her yard is her pride and joy, and her daughters told me that she treats her plants and flowers like children. She is always outside tending to her flora in very caring and loving ways. Her yard boasts of many different types of gorgeous flowers, such as the vibrant deep pink Bougainvillea that sits near the Mimosa Tree in her front yard. She also has vincas, cordyline, croton, and petunias, all lining her yard in a vast array of colors. Her front porch welcomes you with Coleus accented with Swedish ivy in beautiful containers as well as beautiful corn plants that sit on the steps as you walk to her front door. Please take some time to drive by and take a look for yourselves at Sulema's wonderful spring yard!
