Receipts totaled 2,550 head for the week. The market continued very active throughout the week. The stocker steers weighing 400-650 lbs sold steady, but the 250-400 lbs steers were $10-$20 lower due to the buyers going to Kansas, Colorado, South Dakota, etc., completed most of their purchases last week in order to have them weaned and ready to move to pasture in May. The stocker heifers 300-500 lbs were $5 higher, and the 500-650 lbs were steady. The feeder steers and heifers were steady. Packer cows were steady with the top cow at $100.00, and the bulls were steady with the high bull at $113.00. Pairs and bred cows were steady with good demand.
