Receipts totaled 3,722 head. The market opened up this week with an overall steady tone, but as the week progressed, it started trending a little lower due to the lack of rain on the wheat fields and the cool nights and warm days beginning to affect the health on some of the calves which is very typical this time of year. The stocker steers started the week steady with 3 steers 383 lbs at $210.00 ($804.30) and ended the week $4-$5 lower. The stocker heifers were mostly $4-$6 lower. The feeder steers were $2-$4 lower with 6 steers 673 lbs at $153.00 ($1,029.69), and the feeder heifers were $2-$5 lower. The packer cows were $2 lower, and bulls $3 lower. Pairs and bred cows were steady on a limited test.
