Receipts totaled 4,990 head for the week. The market remains very active, and the demand was strong on a choice offering of calves and yearlings. Stocker steers and heifers both sold steady with 5 steers 415 lbs $206.00 ($854.90). Feeder steers and heifers also sold steady with 43 steers weighing 727 lbs $152.50 ($1108.18) and 12 steers 811 lbs $146.00 ($1184.06). Packer cows sold $3-$5 higher with the top cow at $86.00. Bulls remain steady from last week. Pairs and bred cows sold in good demand.
