Receipts totaled 1,011 head with no sale at San Saba due the July 4th holiday. The market opened the week with a steady tone on all classes of calves and yearlings. Stocker steers and heifers sold steady with 5 steers 617 lbs at $162.00 ($999.54). Feeder steers and heifers also remain steady with 5 steers 775 lbs at $136.00 ($1,054.00). Packer cows and bulls both sold steady, while pairs and bred cows sold on a limited test.
