Receipts totaled 994 head with no sale at Mason due to the Memorial Day Holiday and runs reduced due to the good rains that have fallen throughout the area over the last several weeks. The market was very active with strong demand. The stocker steers sold $10 higher with 6 steers 326 lbs at $202.00 ($658.52) and 5 steers 552 lbs at $171.00 ($943.92). The stocker heifers were $5 higher. The feeder steers were $10 higher and feeder heifers were $2-$4 higher. The packer cows were in strong demand selling $5-$10 higher with the top cow 1570 lbs at $83.00 ($1303.10) and 1 cow 1390 lbs $83.50 ($1160.65). The packer bulls were $2 higher with the high bull 1935 lbs at $102.00 ($1973.70). Pairs and bred cows were in good demand and sold $50-$75 higher on a limited test.
