Receipts totaled 595 head and were limited due to the good rains all over the area, and no sale at Mason on Monday due to the Labor Day Holiday. The stocker steers sold steady with 10 steers 440 lbs at $171.00 ($752.40). The stocker heifers were $3-$5 lower. The feeder steers and heifers were $2 lower. The real fleshy calves 500-700 lbs were $2-$5 lower. Packer cows were $3-$4 lower, and bulls were steady. Pairs and bred cows were steady.
