Receipts totaled 1,602 head. The demand continued good throughout the week. The stocker steers sold steady to $10 lower after last weeks increases with
8 steers 533 lbs at $510.00
($2718.30) and 3 steers 583 lbs at
$500.00 ($2915.00). The stocker heifers sold steady to $5 higher. The feeder steers were steady to
$5 lower after last week increases with 2 steers 793 lbs at $381.00
($3021.33). Feeder heifers were steady. Packer cows were $3-$5 higher, and packer bulls were
$1-$2 higher with the top bull at $225. Pairs, bred cows, the special consignment of redAngus and red Angus cross, and open heifers ready to breed were in strong demand.
