Receipts totaled 502 head with receipts reduced due to the ice and extreme cold weather along with no sale being held in Mason on Monday due to the weather also. The stocker steers and heifers were a little softer with not enough volume to get a good test. The feeder steers and heifers were steady with limited receipts to get a good test with 4 steers 661 lbs at $372.00
($2458.92) and 4 steers 775 lbs at $342.50 ($2654.38). The packer cows were steady with not enough packer bulls to test the market. Pairs and bred cows were in strong demand.
