Receipts totaled 5,481 head. The market was very active this week with good demand. The stocker steers were $4-$6 higher with 2 steers 443 lbs at $332.00 ($1470.76) and 2 steers 503 lbs at $307.50 ($1546.72). The stocker heifers were $2-$7 higher. The feeder steers were $2-$3 higher with 12 steers 865 lbs at $213.00 ($1842.42). The feeder heifers were steady with 13 heifers 748 lbs at $223.00 ($1668.04). The packer cows were $1-$2 higher, and bulls were steady. Pairs and bred cows were in good demand on a very active market. The Sutphin Red Angus bulls avg $5916, Charolais bulls avg $4483 and Sim Angus and Limflex bulls avg $5209.
