Receipts totaled 2,299 head. Good rains fell throughout much of the area today. The market continued active with a higher tone. The stocker steers were steady to $5-$10 higher with 4 steers 640 lbs $298.00 ($1907.20). The stocker heifers were steady to $5 higher. Feeder steers were $8-$10 higher, and feeder heifers were $4-$10 higher with 67 Charolais cross heifers 814 lbs at $220.50 ($1794.87). The packer cows were $4-$5 higher with the top cow at $156.00, and packer bulls were $3-$5 higher with the top bull at $170. Pairs and bred cows were in good demand with the top pairs being 8 Brangus pair at $3650. The bred cows were very active with the high set being 6 Brangus cows long bred at $2600.
