Receipts totaled 6,223 head. The market overall continued good this week. The stocker steers and heifers were steady and in good demand. The feeder steers were steady with 14 steers 720 lbs at $262.00 ($1886.40). The feeder heifers were steady to $4-$5 lower on some of the really fleshy kind. The packer bulls were steady to $4-$5 softer. The pairs and bred cows were $200-$300 higher. The Jauer Ranch 10 Charolais bulls avg $4990. The Savage Ranch 7 Angus bulls avg $3843. The Harvey Ranch 5 Angus bulls avg $3680 and the Reich 21 Composite (1/2 Angus, ¼ Main, ¼ Simmental) avg $3955.
