Receipts totaled 1,585 head. The market continued this week with good demand and good buyer activity. The stocker steers were steady and stocker heifers were steady with 4 heifers 259 lbs at $407.00 ($1054.13) and 4 heifers 534 lbs $298.00 ($1591.32). The feeder and live cattle futures board was lower this week, but cattle were still in good demand. The feeder steers were $3-$5 lower with 26 steers 745 lbs $238.00 ($1773.10). The feeder heifers were $5-$12 lower with just a limited test on bigger heavy weight heifers. The packer cows were $3-$5 with the top cow at $158, and bulls were steady with a Charolais bull 2245 lbs at $164.00 ($3681.80). The pairs and bred cows were steady with very good demand.
