Receipts totaled 1,896 head. The lighter calves were in great demand with a lot of wheat fields throughout Texas and Oklahoma ready for cattle to be turned out on them. The stocker steers were $5 higher to some instances $15 higher with 5 steers 511 lbs $322.00 ($1645.42). Stocker heifers were $5-$6 higher with 4 heifers 483 lbs $255.00
($1231.65). Feeder steers were steady to $2 higher and heifers were steady. Packer cows were steady and bulls were steady to $2 higher. Pairs and bred cows were steady on a limited test.
