Receipts totaled 2,442 head with no sale being held at Mason due to the Labor Day Holiday. The market was very active with strong demand on all classes. The stocker steers sold $5-$8 higher with 2 steers 488 lbs at $277.50 ($1354.42) and 10 steers at 633 lbs at $269.00 ($1702.77). The stocker heifers were $4-$10 higher. The feeder steers were $3-$8 higher with 8 head 738 lbs at $243.00 ($1793.34) and 8 steers 823 lbs at $225.00 ($1851.75). The feeder heifers were $5-$8 higher with 3 heifers 792 lbs at $225.00 ($1782.00). The packer cows and bulls were steady. Pairs and bred cows were steady.
