Receipts totaled 1,510 head and were lower than the previous week due to the good rainfall that fell throughout the area. Demand was strong on a very active market. The stocker steers were $8-$10 higher with 4 steers 566 lbs at $246.00

($1392.36). Stocker heifers were $10-$12 higher. Feeder steers were $10 higher with 2 steers 728 bls at $207.00 ($1506.96), and feeder heifers were $5-$10 higher with 6 heifers 673 lbs at $196.00

($1319.08). Packer cows were $5-$7 higher, and packer bulls were $5-$6 higher with the top bull at 2205 lbs at $128.00 ($2822.40). The better bulls in the bull sale sold mostly form $2500 up to $5000. The pairs were very active ranging from $1700 up to $2450. The better bred cows ranged from $1550 up to $1910.
