Jefferson Stencil of San Saba High School travelled to Fort Worth on September 6, 2023, to speak to the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) on his Engineering and Construction Camp experience. The camp was held at USMC Camp Lejeune during the month of June and included many STEM and teambuilding activities. The Fort Worth SAME group sponsored three campers this year – Jefferson Stencil, Ray Tinker of Temple (USAF Camp), and Brandon Stauty of Flower Mound, Texas (USAF Camp). Half of camp costs and airfare was covered by the club, and all three young men had a great experience.
