Think back to your childhood and the things that shaped your development. Chances are that it involved a loving adult who invested in your life. Maybe it involved some activity where you got to explore your prowess in the great outdoors. Or maybe, it was learning about the Creator of our world and how He loves you enough to die for you to reconcile you to God.
We are losing our children. The seas of mass ideology are pummeling them through electronic devices, social media, video games and movies. One of the reasons for this is because we are absorbed in our own worlds of work, stress, social media corners, and entertainment. If we don’t train them in the ways that are right, who will? If we don’t teach them common sense, who will? If we don’t introduce them to creation and the Creator, who will?
At Gospel Rocks Ranch, our goal is to invest in kids’ minds, souls and futures. We host ranch days where kids age 5-12 get to come out and ride horses, shoot BB guns, go on a hay ride, do arts and crafts, feed longhorns, play games and take on obstacle course challenges. At each station of fun, we teach them a portion of the Bible, focusing on the Gospel – that Christ died and rose for our sins according to the Scripture and that faith in Christ and repentance will restore us to a right relationship with God.
