The Hill Country CattleWomen met this past Tuesday at the Sandstone B&B in Llano. We voted on a new slate of officers and the year end awards for Cattle Women of the Year, and Behind the Scene Cattle Women. The new officers will be installed and award winners will be announced at our June meeting.
Our guest speaker was Joey Gordon of Llano. He is a retired Texas Ranger, having served in an area covering South Texas, from Kingsville to the border in the Valley. He was both informative and entertaining. He had many stories to tell!
Our June meeting will be on the 16th at the Wranglers Prime Rib Barn at Longhorn Cellars, Fredericksburg. It is located at 315 Farm Rd 1376, just south off 290. Registrations can be made by emailing bloxcazador@gmail.com by June 11.
Our June meeting will be the last until September.
