Hill Country CattleWomen, June 2026

The Hill Country Cattle-Women (HCCW) is a group of women from all walks of life representing fourteen counties in the Hill Country. They support all agriculture, especially beef production, as well as the sustaining of family farms and ranches. This group works in conjunction with the Texas CattleWomen as well as the American CattleWomen sharing common goals of supporting and providing education about the beef industry.

The HCCW held its final meeting of the year at Longhorn Cellars in Fredericksburg on June 16, 2026. At this meeting, the CattleWoman of the Year, Gene Witt of Kerrville, was recognized as was the Behind the Scenes CattleWoman of the Year, Mary Beth Bauer of Mountain Home/ Harper. In addition, the new officers were installed:

President – Teresa Ganis;

Chaplain – Betsy Rafferty;

4th VP – Christi McAllister;
