On Sunday, November 13, there will be an enchilada plate fundraiser for Susie Garza at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Parish Life Center. There will be drive through or dine in from 11:00 a.m. until we are sold out. The enchilada plate will include enchiladas, rice, beans, and a drink for a $10 minimum donation. There will also be some baked goods for purchase!
Susie Garza has been fighting her battle with colon cancer for over a year now. She has recently had a setback, but she is still in the fight! Susie will hopefully be going to MD Anderson soon to continue to fight her battle. Susie is a precious and unselfish wife, mother, and grandmother. Susie has dedicated 41 years of her life to San Saba ISD. First, she began as a teacher’s aide, assisted with ESL, helped her husband with the concessions at the athletic events, and had many more responsibilities during the years. Her last assignment was an administrative assistant. Susie’s church home, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, has always been an important part of Susie’s life. She has served in many capacities.
