Your Dog Isn’t Bulletproof!
I meant that in a literal sense! A bullet will kill or severely injure your dog. Why am I stating the obvious? Simple, because a loose dog becomes a liability and a hassle for your community.
I wanted to bring this up because out here in the country, we like our guns, and we like our property! And we will usually go to big extents to protect both! Your dog loose outside your property can become a tremendous hassle to your community and cause damage to your neighbor’s property, and now your dog becomes a moving target.
I recently saw a post in a local Facebook group from a homeowner who expressed her frustration and gave fair warning to the owner of these two loose dogs that keep getting into their trash cans, killing their cats, and may be responsible for the disappearance of two smaller dogs. I have also talked to a local pet owner whose dogs got loose and got shot while they were away.
For your dog’s sake, as a property owner myself, as a dog owner, dog trainer and dog lover, I beg you to keep your dog safe and contained.
