Cub Scout Pack 55 Pinewood Derby

    The annual Cub Scout Pack 55 Pinewood Derby was held on Sunday, February 4th, at San Saba First Methodist Church. Eleven cub scouts participated in the fun event where they raced their hand-built cars down a wooden ramp track that stretched the width of the fellowship hall.

    Results are as follows: Riley Falkner - 1st place, Thomas Tracy - 2nd Place, Asher Smith - 3rd Place, Easton Naizer - Scout's Choice, Araceli Porcayo - Sportsman, Raphael McWilliams - Flat Tire Award.

    Other participants were Natalie Porcayo, Ruben Davila, Luke Naizer, Ivan Porcayo and John Robert Moreno.

    The Pecan Valley District Pinewood Derby will be held in Brownwood, Texas, on February 17.
