Message from Dr. Craig Whiting:

There is promise that we will soon have vaccine against COVID-19 available in San Saba County. To ensure that a person is “in line” to receive the vaccine, they can call Everett’s Pharmacy to register there (325-372-3033) and they should also sign up for the BaylorScott&White (BSW) program which is available to everyone whether a patient in the BSW system or not. To sign up with BSW, those with internet access can go to bswhealth.com/covid-vaccine or, from a smart phone, a person can text BETTER to 88408. If a person does not have any internet or data access or if they need help with the process they can call 1-844-BSW-VACC (1-844-279-8222) to get registered. Registering with both the pharmacy and the BSW system means that you will receive a call to let you know when a vaccination opportunity is open for you in San Saba.

Even with the vaccination and even though it’s no longer mandatory, you can help protect your friends and neighbors from COVID by wearing a mask in public and maintaining social distance as you have been doing.
