Saturday, April 3rd, is opening day of the 2021 season at the San Saba County Historical Museum. It will be closed on Easter Sunday, but then will be open Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 1:30 until 4:00 p.m. through October. Group tours are available by appointment from our website: www.sansabamuseum.org or by calling Lynn @ 325-372-8807. Admission is FREE, although donations are always welcome.
Saturday, April 24th, will be a special day at the Museum. We will be celebrating San Jacinto Day and will open at 10 a.m. and have special activities during the day including lunch at the Gazebo and live music beginning around noon. If you have been doing the Texas Treasure Hunt and have completed at least one clue card and bring it that day, you will be eligible to draw for a prize. If you complete all six cards, you will be eligible to draw for a night at Aunt M’s Illustrated Inn or Stone Oak Cottage among other great prizes.
