I am proud to call San Saba County home. As a native Texan with a deep appreciation for rural communities, I value faith, family, and the traditions that make small towns strong.
My husband and I have built our life around service while raising our two children, who stay busy with school activities, sports, and extracurricular events that keep us on the go. Supporting my children and being present for their growth is one of my greatest joys.
My commitment to service extends beyond my home. After earning my bachelor’s degree in management, I went on to complete my MBA at West Texas A&M University. Along the way, I have worked in both public service and local business, including time with the San Saba County Chamber of Commerce and at D&B Processing and Taxidermy. Those experiences strengthened my appreciation for small businesses and the importance of community involvement.
Faith and community are central in my life. I participate in Women of the Word at Cherokee Baptist Church and help with Vacation Bible School and youth programs throughout the year. I have also volunteered with Kids Nature Kamp, where I enjoy helping young people connect with the outdoors and understand the value of rural living.
I am especially passionate about encouraging conservation and respect for the land in the next generation. I enjoy gathering families and young people to explore the outdoors, learn about stewardship, and develop a lasting appreciation for the responsibility we have to care for the places we call home.
When I have spare time, I prefer to be outside - hiking, exploring, and caring for the rabbits, ducks, chickens, and goats I raise - proof that my parents were right when they said I could have all the animals I wanted once I had a place of my own. One of my favorite traditions is floating down the river with family whenever I can, appreciating the slower pace and a little adventure along the way.
My goals in life are simple: to serve with integrity, strengthen my community, and raise my children in a place where faith, responsibility, and hard work are valued.
