Keep San Saba Beautiful (KSSB) welcomes all golfers and non-golfers to come have some fun at their first Benefit Golf Tournament on July 22, 2023.
A four-person scramble will be conducted on the lush greens of the San Saba River Golf Course with Tee Off scheduled for 1:00 p.m. The number of entries will determine flighting and number of flights once score cards are received. Standard rules will apply. And to make it a bit more interesting, “Forgiveness String” will be offered at $10 per foot. There is also a closest to pin on both sides’ winning opportunity. The entry fee is $50 per person. With 75% pay back to winners, you may go home a big winner, and if not, you will have experienced a great fun day in San Saba.

If you are unfamiliar with this organization: KSSB is an eightmember Board commissioned under the City of San Saba to assist the City Council in litter prevention within the city. The eight directors and volunteers: Gale Ivy, Rhonda Killion, Kathleen Hawkins, Debbie Shahan, Sandra Vaughn, Marcie Butler, Cissy Williams, and Lucia Martinez; and resource member, Sandra Baskin; have taken their service and dedication to a higher level, not only assisting in litter prevention but in beautifying the town with beautiful downtown flower planters, flower beds, a community pollinator’s garden, Mill Pond Park beautification projects, “sprucing up” public places, recycling projects, semiannual city-wide cleanups and so much more.
