Greetings from Bend!
I hope everyone has had a wonderful week! This past weekend, we had our first community meeting of the year, and it was wonderful. There were 12 people in attendance.
We planned the annual fundraiser: we will be having a fish fry on October 19th at 6:00 p.m.
There will be a silent auction. If you are interested in donating items, please bring them by Saturday before 4:00 p.m.
There will also be a dessert contest and a cake auction. Desserts that you want to be in the contest will need to be there before 4:00 p.m., and cakes for the auction need to be there by 6:00 p.m.
Bring your friends! We also discussed our new cookbook. It will be a while before it comes out, but we are starting to gather recipes. This cookbook will be all new recipes. If you or someone you know has some recipes, please email them to bendcca@gmail.com.
