BCBS and Hill Country Memorial reach in-network agreement

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) and Hill Country Memorial are pleased to announce they have agreed to contracts ensuring Hill Country Memorial Hospital will remain in-network with no disruption in service.

After months of negotiation, both parties have worked to prevent a lapse in coverage for BCBSTX members who are Hill Country Memorial patients. The agreement will not only continue Hill Country Memorial’s participation in BCBS’ PPO/POS, Blue Essentials, and Traditional Indemnity networks, but it will eventually have Hill Country Memorial in-network with additional BCBS products.

BCBSTX and HCM value the long-standing relationship between the two organizations and the role they play in providing healthcare to patients while fulfilling the needs of members.

“Hill Country Memorial is pleased to have reached a new agreement with BCBS,” said Jayne Pope, CEO of Hill Country Memorial. “We look forward to continuing to provide access to highly-quality healthcare services close to home for our BCBSTX-insured patients for years to come.”
