On Sunday, May 1st, San Saba native Jane Felts Mauldin will share memories of her early years in San Saba, her art, and the interesting and surprising twists and turns her career has taken.

Known for her artistic abilities from an early age, Jane received her B.A. degree at Baylor University and Master’s in art at Texas A&M-Kingsville. She taught as well as painted until motherhood took precedence for several years. She has always enjoyed using a wide variety of mediums, and her subject matter is quite varied. Hill Country landscapes, historic buildings, delicate florals, and portraits are all part of her works.

Many of her prints are available at the Museum including floral watercolors and historic buildings from around the county. Jane also painted the original for the cover of Mike Millican’s book Down the Road and Around the Bend.

Please join us at The Father’s House Fellowship Hall, 704 E. Commerce Street on Sunday, May 1st. A brief business meeting will begin at 2:00 p.m. followed by Mrs. Mauldin’s presentation. There will be fellowship and refreshments beginning at 1:30 p.m.
