We are having Texas weather here in Ohio, and people are complaining because it is too hot. When I was a speaker in the prison at San Saba, I told them that the BIBLE was "Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth." The most important thing in the life of a Christian is to do the will of God. Instructions are in the BIBLE (no complaining).
I am so excited because Jeff and Jackie Moales are going to bring me to San Saba on Thursday, September 30th, and then they will go to Alvarado where Jeff is scheduled to preach. It will be a short stay, leaving to come back Sunday afternoon, October 3rd.
Tomorrow my daughter, Jenny, will be the lead runner on Route 40, five miles west of Zanesville, running a leg of the Great American Relay. It is to commemorate the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and raise money for First Responders.
Sunday, September 19th, I attended the sixth church since living in Ohio. The pastor knew Larry, and it was good to talk with him. I was invited to a Widow's Group that will meet this Saturday. This is an answer to prayers.
A guy on a mower went by my condo a few minutes ago, and I am very thankful that the lawn care is taken care of by others. I am also thankful that a door from my kitchen goes right into the garage. This will be great when it snows and freezes, so I won't need to brush snow and ice off my car! Matthew 7:11: "How much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him?" GLORY TO GOD!
