Last Friday, I checked one more thing off my list of To Do's since moving to Zanesville, Ohio, from San Saba, Texas. I got a doctor's appointment. But it isn't until Wednesday, October 6th, and I had a prescription to be filled this week. I called Everett's Pharmacy, and they filled my prescription again and mailed it to me. I am going to miss the availability and care at Scott & White in San Saba. Just one more thing to do on the list is to select an attorney. There again, I know they will not measure up to Jody Fauley.
A new friend, Katha Mercer, invited me to join the Zanesville Concert Association. Membership includes concerts at the Secrest Auditorium here in Zanesville by Quartetto Gelato of Canada, October 3; Take3 with vocalist Lauren Jelencovich Saturday, December 18; Romeo & Juliet and Carmen Wednesday, February 9; Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra Tuesday, February 21; Raleigh Ringers Saturday, March 19; It did not take me long to say YES and AMEN to this invitation.
Memorial Day was another 'first holiday' without Larry. That evening, I called my dear friend Marsha and was then able to end the day with her kind and loving help.
I went shopping and then dinner with my daughter, Jenny, on Thursday evening. I realized that I had worn the wrong shoes, flip flops, and my legs hurt so much it was difficult to walk. I bought a pair of tennis shoes, and when I got home applied super strength BLUE-EMU and took Ibuprofen pills. This is not an ad for these products, but the truth that they relieved the pain. I give credit where credit is due.
I want to give credit to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and the Power of The Holy Spirit for being my Help, my Hope, and The Way to Truth and Life.
