Alice in Wonder Land

Last week, I looked out to check my bird feeder. The rod that was holding it was tilted, and bird seed was all over the ground. The ground was frozen when I put the feeder out so I was able to secure the rod deeper in the ground. The next day, my companion cat Dinah was intently looking out at the feeder so when I looked I saw a squirrel eating the seed on the ground and I knew it was the reason the feed was on the ground. So that evening I took down the suet feeder from a hanger attached to my enclosed porch just under the roof. I put it on the rod and then put the bird feeder where the suet was. The birds have adjusted to this very well, but I don't think the squirrel likes it.

Ah, adjustments in our lives can be necessary, challenging and suddenly. My suddenly hap-pened Sunday when I fell from a step coming out of the Subway. I doctored my bloody right knee and painful left foot and will go to the clinic in Dresden, Ohio, 15 minutes from where I live in Zanesville.

I have a good report about Pastors Mike and Melody Foster since they were in an accident last month. Pastor Mike came to church in a wheelchair, and Pastor Melody was able to be on the Praise & Worship Team playing a keyboard and singing. They know about God's protection and the love, prayers and support from literally hundreds of people.

Psalm 33:18...NIV...But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear Him, on those whose hope is in His unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.
