Someone asked: “Do I need Jesus to go to Heaven?” You need Jesus to go to Walmart! It's a crazy world out there! I certainly needed Jesus when I went to Mexico last week! Because it was so special, I cannot find the words to express the trip with Pastor Tom, Sister Cynthia and Brother Vince Toomey. My circumstances have not changed since the last trip there February, 2021, for a memorial service for my husband, Larry. However, I was able to put things in perspective and enjoy the love and support of my dear ones there. We attended the 11th Anniversary of The Templo Sion church in San Fernando, Mexico. Vince and Pastor Tom and other members of The Fathers House have supported financially, worked on projects and trips to help Pastor Gabriel. Of course I took pictures and already have them in an album within a week. That is a record for me because I have thousands of photos waiting for an album.
This past weekend, I enjoyed activities and events. On Saturday morning, I volunteered for a yearly cleaning day at Northgate Dresden church, got back home and walked Ellie, my chocolate lab, to get the mail before going to my condo-family day. Yesterday after church, I went with my daughter, Jenny, and her mother-in-law, Judy, to a Backwoods festival that had approximately 150 food booths, 500 merchants with crafts and things to sell, and 10 entertainment groups. It was wonderful, but my body is not feeling wonderful today because of all the walking. Although I am not feeling well, I have joy and a smile on my face as I am sharing my life with everyone reading this!
John 15:11......Jesus said: “These things I have spoken to you, that My Joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.”
